G.I.F.T wants to start a movement throughout the Auckland region by creating a groundswell of action that will improve the environmental health of the Hauraki Gulf.
In addition to this we are looking for a range of partners to:
- Encourage new funding for environmental initiatives in the Hauraki Gulf
- Provide additional mentoring support for great initiatives
- Address environmental issues affecting the gulf that are outside of our funding region
- Add momentum through events and activities that raise awareness and encourage community action on issues affecting the gulf
