Between 2016 and 2022, G.I.F.T explored and refined approaches to test, scale and create new systems to restore the mauri of Tīkapa Moana/Te Moananui-ā-Toi (the Hauraki Gulf). While G.I.F.T as a standalone fund ended in March 2022, Foundation North remains committed to Tīkapa Moana/Te Moananui-ā-Toi and her people through its other funding streams.
